This page summarizes information to the release version 1.10 of Perception Park software as well as gives access to available installers.

New Features

  • New perspective - Truecolor: "Explore [Color]" allows: visualization of data sets in true color, investigation of colors in XYZ, Lab and sRGB, measurement of similarities (distances) of selected points.
  • New model method - Truecolor: allows to create models for Perception Core to stream true color information.
  • Streams can now be sent as 16Bit RGB (3 * 16) or 8Bit RGB (3 * 8)
  • Silicon Software Framegrabbers are supported
  • Windows 10 Support

Changes

  • "Explore" perspective renamed to "Explore [Spectra]"

Fixes

  • FX10e: wavelength range was corrected
  • Windows 10 related problems
  • Fixed a problem with the "Get" in the "Setup" perspective. Now, this button sets the camera to the settings, defined in the selected configuration
  • Fixed a problem where the "Import" button in "Setup" perspective would not import a configuration properly

Available Installation Versions

Get an installer of your choice from the list below:

All software versions are free of charge during a (demo) period of one month. After activation of your specific PC, the software is available without any bounds to time.
Alternatively, obtain an transferable USB dongle from your local distributor.

Desktop Version
This software suite enables users to load data like Hyperspectral cubes or example projects into the Perception Studio program, to perform exploratory investigation to hyperspectral cube data and to carry out application relevant information. The Desktop software suite is predestinated for evaluation or analysis purposes of available data.

Offline Version
...in addition allows to setup measurements and to acquire data from a hyperspectral imaging camera. The Offline Suite is typically the best choice for evaluation or analysis purposes of acquired data.

Inline Version
...in addition allows to stream molecular information coded by color information to the client application. The Inline Suite is the standard for the industrial application of devices based on the Hyperspectral technology.

Update History

1.7

1.8

1.9

1.10.4916

Fixes

  • Fixed a crash of Perception Studio, which could occur when using data sets from previous software versions.

1.10.4915

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the TrueColor functions would not show an image
  • Fixed a bug where Perception Studio would crash in some cases if the user wanted to select spectra sets or use the crop tool

1.10.4907

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the crop tool
  • Fixed a bug where the camera needed to send images before being able to acquire data

1.10.4903

New Features

  • Model perspective was improved to allow editing of existing models (see documentation)
  • Model & Explore perspectives now have an info widget on the right side, which shows mouseover information such as wavelengths and feature values.
  • ENVI import for LUMO files
  • Extended functionality for Silicon Software Framegrabbers
  • Model perspective now shows the wavelengths of a model in the "Feature Model" plot

Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Perception Core to stop when using hardware triggers with low trigger frequency.
  • Fixed a bug where the user needed to provide a few trigger signals (when using a hardware trigger) to be able to record in Acquire.
  • Fixed a bug where the Perception Core would only show up as GigEVision device, when the first camera image was processed. This was a problem for hardware triggered setups.
  • Fixed a bug in Setup Perspective where balancing images could not be loaded from disk and could not be deleted.
  • Fixed a bug where models showed the wrong camera sensor ROI in their properties.
  • Fixed a bug where wrong wavelengths could be displayed in the crop tool.
  • Fixed a bug where wrong wavelengths could be shown when derivatives where selected as preprocessing.
  • Fixed a bug where empty spectra sets remain in the data sets after crop.
  • Fixed a bug where statistical features would show a saturated image when received in Perception Studio as 16Bit stream.
  • Fixed a bug where FX10 and FX17 cameras could fail to load the correct aberration correction.

1.10.4805

  • New perspective - Truecolor: "Explore [Color]" allows: visualization of data set in true color, investigation of colors in XYZ, Lab and sRGB, measurement of similarities (distances) of selected points.
  • Explore Perspective is renamed to "Explore [Spectra]"
  • FX10e: wavelength range was corrected
  • Windows 10 related problems

Known Issues

  • GenICam clients may not support the visualization of 16Bit RGB output from Perception Core. This may lead to wrong colors being visualized.

1.10.4807

  • Fixed an issue with the licensing system, that would not allow a trial period for the user
  • Fixed an issue with the licensing system, that would not allow old licenses to be used
