This is a nice data set for exploratory analysis on plastics typically in recycling.
Further notes of the data sets donor
I tried to get data with a small amount of acquisition noise - because of lack on light power, I increased the integration time to 80ms.
The measurement was done in transflexion on a white tile -> because of the "transparency" of the samples in the NIR range, the obtained spectra might be different when a black background is used.
