In some situations it can make sense to directly design a model „by hand“. For example: to emulate the behavior of a VIS camera, color filter curves can be defined as a model and applied to VIS spectra.
The user defines a model in an XML-Style file and imports the file as new model.
- Create a model file in an XML format (e.g. *.fltp, see Import/Export of a CCI Model) and save it.
- Start a project.
- Select your model.
- You can now change the scaling to be based on the whole cube or only the selected spectra. Further, you can specify if the scaling is applied uniformly of for each channel separately.
- Please take note that the model will be stretched/compressed to the spectral range upon import.
